Please don't anyone tell my Rose BTA that, because it's been thriving under 4 X 96 watt PCs for 5 years now and is 12" across.

They do need enough light, decent water and they may need to be fed a little more if they have less light. Don't have scientific back up on that last statement.

1GoldClown - good luck with your anemone. I hope he starts eating. If you can get it to eat, it might turn around. Mine likes Formula One cubes or Ocean Nutrition makes a VHP - high protein formula for stressed animals that could help.

Enough Kelvin? Kelvin is the color temperature of light. Everything from a candle to the sun has Kelvin, it's not a matter of light intensity. And, as so many have posted, PCs have enough PAR to successfully maintain anemones, assuming the Kelvin is within the appropriate range and in proximity to the anemone.

You mean to tell me I need to test the water I make to refill the water I take out? I can do that and with that being said is Glacier water out of the water dispenser at the grocery store suitable RO/DI water to use? The anemone is eating and is not so stringy but still small. Its color is coming back and at some times you can see the lines on the tentacles (healthy sign?) Looks more solid for the most part... if pics are wanted let me know. Ill post them later anyway thanks again

Glad to hear the anemone is on the rebound. I can't comment on the Glacier water. It's probably okay, but it might be cheaper in the long run to purchase your own RO/DI unit.

I used to have one of those coralife digi thermometers. It read 3 degree's lower then actual temp. there was a forum thread about it on one of the forums and alot of people had similar results. you may want to check it with a real thermometer. just a though..
