Hi everybody, I just saw a comment on the general fourm that made wonder, how fast do clams grow? I've got 2 maximas and I know how large they can get, but I don't know how fast they should be growing.
Under optimal conditions, a maxima could grow a few millimeters a month. I've seen it before. In less than optimal conditions they can barely grow at all.
Derasas, gigas, etc could hit an inch in a month. (I've personally seen 1/2 inch in a month out of a derasa.
