Since alot of meds kill bacteria why would the tank need to be cycled? Also without it being cycled what are the chances ammonia will be present and kill the fish anyway? Even with water changes
I do not cycle QTs or HTs - I just feed carefully and maybe add a ball of Chaeto.
Though my fish are mostly small enough to be held in 1/2 a gallon of water for extended periods, so they usually do just peachy in a 10 gallon tank.
