Hosting Bubble Coral

I have MaroonClown that started hosting my Bubble Coral. He keeps rubbing against it and I don't think the Bubble is to keen on the idea. The Bubble is not looking to good. I'm hoping to save the Bubble, is there a way to break the attachment? Will it help to move the bubble? I don't really want to get an Anemone as was suggested by LFS. Any ideas?

You can try a strawberry crate over it, but your maroon may go to something else that doesn't really appreciate the attention. I know mine has pretty much killed every coral in my tank except the hairy mushrooms(which seem to like it) and my cabbage coral(which she can't seem to get in)

why wont you get them anemones they like them

Had not planned on putting an Anemone in the tank. Not sure if I have room either. I have tried moving the Bubble, I'll see how that goes.
