Would you say that my clown is hosting a Feather Duster here? He just started doing this today after 10mo's or so. Normal and ok? I've noticed now she has a string of white hanging from the rear. My larger clown (male?) is now trying it too.

Is this the birds and the bees or something going on:)

Update... the male is going in afterward and eating something. Would it be eggs and does the male normally do that?

Birds and Bees's ?? I would say they are hosting. The "string" ewww poop?
When spawning you may notice them cleaning a spot on the rocks, biting at it. The female will lay her eggs on a rock usually, they will tank turns swimming over the chosen spot, she lays, he fertitlzes. They don't eat their eggs. I have seen feather duster hostings before, it is amazing how the worm tolerates it.
