Hi,

Two weeks ago, I added a Sebae anemone and two true perculas to my system. All seem very happy, eating well, good color.

Question...The clowns have not shown any interest in the Sebae up to this point. Might they just not get together or am I not allowing sufficient time?

Thanks, Fred

It might be the species of anemone. Here's a link to a compatibility chart.

When I added a BTA to the tank with my tomato clowns, the next morning (after the BTA figured out where it wanted to be), the clowns had taken up residence.

Thanks Jeff.

It seems that these two species do not make a match. Another bit of information learned too late.

Ive found that with true and false percs that are tank breed that it takes longer for them to start hosting in anemone if they even decide to host at all. When I first started out with anemones and clownfish I went though several pairs of both that would simply not host even after months. Right now I have a pair of sebae clowns and when introduced into the tank they dove right down to the anemone and haven't left yet. Ive found the pink skunk and sebae clowns to be fast at hosting.
