Hot pink Porite?

I got if from my LFS thinking it was pink Goniopora stutchburyi. After further examination and confirmation by John Kelly (goniopora.org) it's definitely not a goni, but some type of porite. What do you think?

I had a disagreemet on genus and species once, too. Mine was G. stutchburyi (or so we concluded) and it looks similar to yours. Mine is hot pink, too. The polyps look similar to yours, but they extend to about 3/8" or so. Not much extension for most goni's, but the polyps are a bit smaller than alot of goni polyps.

Where do you have yours placed gflat65? Currently I have mine placed at the bottom w/ mod. random flow.

I have it at the bottom of a 120 with low/med flow and low lighting (currently 175W 15K XM's that are about 10 months old). I had it under the 250W DE's and it bleached and died quickly.
