for those that don't have a chiller that is. :)
I'm dancing around 83-84 during the day and 80-81 in the evening with lights out....everyone else?

I hit yesterday 81.9. So far my temps have been doing ok. I noticed my tanks temp dropped almost 2 degrees when I remembered to switch my ceiling fan to run the other direction. I had forgotten all about my ceiling fans. Right now my tank is showing 79.2. My other thermometer is showing 78.2 ... they are always one degree off from one another. (lights not on yet)

Anywhere from 77-79;). Sound like it's time to cut some holes through that floor and plumb a chiller into the basement;).

LOL. I actually just added a heater!! My house stays pretty cool when it's this hot outside. My tank temp was at 72 yesterday, so I got a little heater to keep it at 78-79.

I get to 82 in the daytime and then drop to 78 overnight. have turned my fans in the hood to blow across the water 24/7. run 440vho 11hrs. had a few spikes to 84, but as long as I leave teh doors open while away when the a/c goes to 79, it has been pretty stable at 82.

Mine stays around 77-78 with running fans and I keep my house on the cool side around 70 and I do run a heater to keep it at 78

I'm just running a fan on top of the lights.....During the day it's 80.5 - 81. At night its around 78-79.

:)
Hope you all had a great 4th!!

my tank never gets below about 79.0 and during the day at peak time it goes as high as 81.5, but that is it.....stays pretty constant.....I keep the fan on in the room with the tank, seems to help I think.

Mine runs 77F in the winter. From the beginning of Spring to the end of Fall, though, I open the door to my sump and put a fan in front of the tank (except when visitors come) to keep my temp at 79~80F. If I do not, it rises above 84F. I really need a small chiller so I can close the dang stand doors. My wife won't turn the A/C down below 80F in the Summer...
