How about them Dodgers

3.5 games and I was at the game tonight. I sat there trying to figure out a weakness in the batting order and really couldn't find one! I just hope they can hold on and keep most of their infield healthy!

This is the first time in Dodger's history that they won 17 out of 18 games. Very impressive indeed. Ever since Greg Maddux join the club, the pitching has been outstanding. What a pick up. Now, hopefully they can win their division and go do some damage in the playoff. GO DODGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

i hate the dodgers!!!

didnt really start hating them until i went to one of the games and they didnt serve beer!!! ***!!!

While I do like the Dodgers if they make it to the playoffs they don't stand much of a chance of making it very deep. Unless of course they get lucky like the last time in 1988.
Couple of months ago when McCourt was in the press box with Scully he made a comment about how he'd like to see the team fielded all from the farm system. While that's a noble idea I think he only see's it as a way to not pay the high salaries while we still pay $6.00 for a beer.

I've not been to a game this year, haven't bought a beer there in maybe 5 years. :) We always take sodas, water, peanuts and a sandwich with us to the game. ;) Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my beer, but I'd prefer to stay seated without all the relief trips.

Rock... I think the Angels would match up better in the playoffs. The wildcard is out of reach so they have got to beat the division. For some reason they get up for big games and teams that look better on paper.

I don't know about them not having a chance. They powered through the Mets. Knocked D-train about. Swept the Giants. They are looking good!

I think the Mets won two out of three?

D-Train's ERA is over 4 and is 7-10. Not to mention the Marlins total salary this year is $14,998,500.00 which is about 15% of what the Dodgers is this year. Florida has won 55 games and the dodgers have won 64. So what has the Dodger salary got them?... a few more wins at over $9,000,000.00 each.

SF is just another of the sub 500 teams.

this is how it will work out.. its the same every year

Dodgers go on a winning spree and are in1st place

they start to lose

they lose some more

they are in contention for the wildcard with 3 games to go
