How are different "designer" zooanthid colors produced?

This is a pic that doesn't really do mine justice due to my poor photographing skills, but...

In real life, mine are a deeper green around the skirts, and the centers are a bright, almost flourescent orange starburst on canary yellow. I broke up a frag into several frags that have 3-4 polyps each, one shown above.

That looks like what I have, too. I had moved the piece that was higher up in the display into my work nano, so the main colony is still low. It is deeper green. May be time to start coloring it back up...
