How big do copepods get?

I take a peak in the tank every night before beddy bye time, and I always see pods crawling all over the rocks, most of them the same size as the ones in frozen cubes. But every once in awhile I will see a few critters about 3/8" long, much bigger than the standard. looks just like a pod. I cant get a real good look at them because they seem to be able to see my red light moreso than the smaller ones.

Could they be........?

I have a 20 gallon tank set up I call the jungle with just some macro and 2 pieces of hair algae covered LR to breed pods in. I have maybe a few hundred in it. One day I put some flakes in there and I saw the mother pod come out and snatch a flake, I wished I had a pic it looked like the sand fleas I used to dig up in Florida but smaller, it was about 3/8 of an inch.
