How big do maxima's have to be before they reproduce?

Just looked next to my maxima and a clear shell has a ppeared next to it the nassarius haven't touched it so I was wondering if it is a new clam.:rollface:

Not a new clam They reproduce by the hundreds of thousands to millions and take a year to get 35cm. Maximas are generally 10years+ when they reach sexual maturity
