How big will it get?!

I picked up an RBTA in mid December. When I bought it, it was about as big as my fist. Now, when expanded, the 'nem is about 8-9 inches across. The percs love it but it is starting to approach some pretty nice corals. I feed it about every 4 to 5 days. Anyone know how big they can get? I've heard about trying 50% water changes to promote a split. I've also heard about cutting them. Any opinions on what I should do? other than move all my corals

I have seen several RBTA that are at least 13 inches in Dia. Unless it splits or you cut it I would say it will continue to grow.

what do you think????

An anemone of that size would be almost impossible to cut, trust me. Your best chance would be either to increase water movement around it or do a good size water change. Just use caution with the water movement aspect as it might cause the anemone to move/change locations in the tank rather then cause it to split. In any case it is a very nice large anemone.

this one got about 14 inches or so.
