How can I get my clowns to host?

I'm dumb founded I put photos all over the tank and no respose to my Anemone I've had it for almost a month and it aclimated well it eats like an animal and its grown at least an inch since I bought him. Any suggestions on how to gwet them to host? I tryed the netting and forcing them into the Nem, but they just swam away after touvhing it............

That is a real beauty. It took mine a year to finally host so just be patient.

Really nice anemone. But it was a bad idea to net them and put them in the anemone. Your clowns haven't develope the slim coat needed to live in the anemone. They will have to slowly acclimate to the anemone and then they will be hosted by it. It just takes time. Forcing clowns can get them eaten and they might NEVER host, since they would always get sting when force. So it would be a good idea not to do it anymore.

O yea, have you tried the picture method? And what kind of clowns?

I tried the picture of another clown taped to the outside of the aquarium, it just ****ed off my clown. It kept hitting the glass trying to bite it. There is no fool proof magical method to make them host as littleshark stated they may never host so just enjoy them and maybe one day you'll be pleasently suprised. : )

Its ok and I tried the netting method once and it seemed to **** of my fish i didnt do it again. I do verymuch enjoy my anemone i just want the whole symbiosis

if you have an ocellaris clowns its only a chance they will host. One of my friends has had his for over a year and they never hosted his BTA. However, I know another person that had his ocellaris hosting his GBTA in a month. I never had luck getting mine to host my BTA, So i made room in my take by selling a few things and got a green carpet anemone. It took my two clowns about 20 seconds to find it and start hosting it. They both sleep in it now and cant get enough of it. If you really want your clowns to host, I suggest a carpet anemone
