how can i move my sebae?

i have a sebae that is doing great but i need to move it to my 180g. it's foot is deep in the sand attached under a big rock. how can i get it to detach with out ripping apart the tank? thanks!

RO/DI ice cubes work well. You can also try pointing a powerhead at its foot as well.

The powerhead way normally works quite well and you should have some success with that method.

force methods can work ,try blocking light or cutting off flow first

i started making ice before but i can barely get to it's food. it's attached under a rock under a 3" sand bed. thanks!

i ended up being to get the rock out and it just let it hang by it's own weight and it eventually fell of the rock and is now in the 180 doing well.
