How can ORP and PH change without probes?

We just got the replacement DC8s and are setting up the ACII.
Only the temp probe is in so far. It reads about 2 degrees higher than our thermometers, but seems stable - so I guess we can calibrate it to match.

However, while monitoring the temp in the reef status window throughout the day I noticed the ORP and PH sometimes change. Not drastically - but some, and neither of those probes is even plugged in. Is that normal????

I ran into a problem with the orp probe and I have one installed. After a number of different things we tried, I had to go on the controller, toggle the ph2 on and off, then go to the orp probe and toggle it off and back on. Everything's been good since then. I'm pretty happy with my ORP for no ozone yet. I haven't broke 300 but I'm 299 right now which from what I've read isn't bad. I only installed it Wednesday so it may drift higher yet as it may not be settled in but with that number I probably shouldn't hold my breath.

Without probes installed the pH and ORP readings will definitely change as the inputs are floating. Any electrical noise will cause the value to change.
