i made a magnetic frag tray with an old magna float and am wondering how close i should put it to the lights. I have 4 t5's and 8 led bulbs. seems to be working out at the top of the tank but im just wondering. thanks.
I don't believe you can place it "too" close. Depending on its previous exposure you may need to photo-period acclimate over the course of a week or so but after that I believe closer would yield the best results.
