How cold?

I would start to worry when it gets near the lower 70's...especially if you don't know when your power will be on again. you could go buy some heat packs and seal them in zip lock bags, and float them in the tank if your really starting to worry. Good luck!

I think I've got some of the hand warmers I'll put those in there for now. Just looked at my house temp it's 60 no wonder I'm cold!Might go to the store just to get warm.

Can you wrap the tank with towels or blankets? This might help insulate it some- Maybe floating tupperware type jug filled with heated RO - I know your electricity is out but a gas stovetop should still run to heat the water.

Good luck

Well Electric is finally back on ( been off since 7 am ) I had battery powered air stones in there and boiled water and changed it out every 15 to 20 minutes (in tupperware containers) worked pretty well I think

Thanks all!

On a much sadder note something got into my chicken house and killed all but one rooster (Probobly racoon) Only ate the heads.

Hey someone close to Dwight! Hello there. My power just came on about 15 minutes ago, and my tank didn't get lower than about 79.
