How deep is your sand bed?

How coarse is your substrate?

In my nano, I have a sand bed of only 2.5 inches and the sand is coarse. I have been reading up and, apparently, according to DSB enthusiasts, my sand bed is not nearly deep enough and the substrate is too coarse.

What about yours?

My sand bed is about 6 inches deep and has the finest grain sand. The size of the grains are important for a DSP to work properly

Mine varies between 4-6" w/ a fine sand. Gonna replenish it this week to get it a little thicker.
