how do anemones grow? (btas in particular)

Ive had my bta for about 4 months or so.. and its definatly gotton bigger. Just recently I noticed a few tenicles splitting... or growing another tip out the side of a tenicle. not sure whitch.
(these are on the outter rim)

And a tenicle close to the middle of the disk looks almost deformed. It looks to be growing 2 new tips out of the sides of a tenicle.

So im just corious. Does the disk and the tenicles just get larger with age?
or
Does it constantly grow new tenicles? If so, everywhere/all over? or just around the outside?

From what I have noticed, both actually. They tend to not only increase around the periphery, (though this will depend upon the species), but in the inner portions as well. Distally developing tentacles seem to be the norm, however, proceeding with disc growth. They may or may not physically grow in size--this even varies within species.
