i am trying to get ideas on how to build a shark lagoon..if you have one can you post the pics,,,what do you use for a pump,,filters, etc....i want to build a 2000 gal lagoon....can you help...?? thanks

the places I've seen w/ large indoor tank have used either reinforced conrete or cinderblocks as walls and 1 or 2 viewing panels made out of thick arcylic. The filtration and pumps are provided by pool equipment.
If you look back a few yrs here you'll find a guy named mr4000 and he had a 4000gal tank in his basement.
If you've got lots of cash you can have a "regular" acrylic tank built to you dimiensions. Problem is they'll most likely have to build on site.
Lastly, go to the forum here called large & big reef tank, you'll find some folks who have 500-200 gal tank in their homes

Unless you have some good cunstruction experiance I wouldn't try it . 2000 gallons of water can make a big mess.

Same here. Best I could do he-he :D 4x2ft? That's crazy!!! Way too small for a shark.

that sharklagoon link is a bunch of BS! all it is is an outdoor pond and a bunch of bad advice on keeping sharks

Oh you got the book. Does it mention anything about the other sharks and rays book by michael something

Scott's book is great,I am not saying anything against him, in fact I wholly encourage anyone who is even thinking about keeping a shark or ray to read it. I was referring to that first link that was posted.
