How Do I Frag my FrogSpawn

Hey guys,

i have never frag a coral before. But my frogspawn grew 2 more heads and its huge when it blows up in my 10gal tank. can someone teach me how to frag a frogspawn...

its really easy...just snap off a branch and make sure its not too close to the fleshy part of the head.

do i need to dip it in any medication?? do i snap it off with my hands??

You can use your hands or a pair of pliers (or whatever you have). No need to dip - just be sure to snap the "bony"part, not the fleshy part.

ok so once i snap it off, then it all done, that its?? do they need a day or two to recover before i can tranport them for trading??

When you snap them jsut make sure not to hit or touch the fleshy part. I've accidently nailed a head or two once and brown jelly soon followed. Branching corals are so easy to frag. Just dont get too close. You should be able to transport as long as its looking healthy. Good luck.
