How I got mine out was a small barbless hook with some bait.
He now lives peacefully in my sump.

Yea I've tried that several times it snagged it but idk how it got loose. Teach me your way.

Make sure you have a small enough hook to fit in his mouth. Then when he hits it, give it a tug and keep the tension on until you net him.
