How do I keep the noise down?

I just bought a 200g. I got it up and running yesterday. My question is, how can I get the noise down from the water going down the over flows?

change the overflows so it fills up the entire overflow box. Either by putting in pvc, or durso overflows, or you can make your own. You want the water to fill the entire overflow box so the overflow spill isn't really loud like a waterfall.
