How do I lower my Alk

I need help. I just tested my water with Salifert kits.

Calcium - 375ppm
Alk/dKh - 14

Isn't my alk unusually high? I just set up the tank (215g). How can I get these parameters where they need to be for SPS?

I haven't tested for Mg yet.

Add some turbo cal and that should take care of your CA and KH problem.

Yep either add some calcium to off set the alk or do a large water change. If you ahve SPS in the tank allready don't add to much CA as it will lower the alk to quick. You want it as stable as possible to be succesfull with SPS (params no swingin)

I just added some organic calcium. I will test it again tomorrow.
