How do I take apart and clean a 6055

How do I clean this powerhead. I have 2 and they have been working flawlessly for 5 months now. It is time to clean them. I am cleaning 1 at a time. Currently I have 1 soaking in vinagar. How do I disassemble this unit and clean it?

Help would be appreciated.

Well that is sure wierd. I just pulled the guard off and then the prop and cleaned the unit with a toothbrush. I re-assembled the unit and now it will not start. It won't do anything at all.

Any clues out there?

Kink of wierd that the unit would work perfectly for 5 months and now stop after cleaning.

There is a stickied thread at the top of the forum that may help. Please let me know how it works out. I am leaving for vacation for two weeks and would need to have the pump back by Friday to get it repaired before I leave.
