My Goby who is new to the tank. Seems to ignore the food I put in. I have tried pellet, flake, frozen. He lets the food fall right past him but doesnot eat any. When I was acclimating him I put some pellets in that tank and he ate them right up. I dont think he has ate since being put in the main tank.

I have one for about 5 to 6 weeks I still haven't seen that eats but it's not skinny either. Maybe you can get some life brine shrimp to get it started. I'm not too worried in my tank because I've seen a bloom of small shrimp, looks like mysis.

where is a good place online to order live brine shrimp.? Or pods will they eat pods. I dont think my tank has any yet that I can see but I would like to order some to start my population.

Also I have no Pistol Shrimp for him do most peole pair them with a shrimp

Mine will eat spurina pellets and I have seen him go after some frozen mysis. The pellets are quite big for him too, but he doesn't seem to have a problem.

Formula One Sinking Pellets with Garlic, size medium. Also Brown Algae.

Don't worry too much: they feed themselves by sifting sand, and can emerge after days of burrowing with a full belly.

I dont have small grain sized sand. I have mixed grain 1.2 - 4 mm and some shell frags mixed in. I'm not sure how he will deal with it.

If you need a source of live brine shrimp, its fairly easy to hatch them from eggs, which you can buy at a local fish store.

Or any sea monkey kit will do ;)

Watchman gobies can eat pretty large sized food item. And they are not known to be finicky. Use a long piece of airline tubing as a straw to target feed him. Once he knows food comes out of it, he'll be biting at the tube whenever he sees it. Try mysis.

Ya, eventhough my hifin eats a lot, there will be somedays when he is not out when I feed my fish, but he gets natural stuff, and like 1 pellet fills his belly :D
