hey zigzag,
Believe it or not, I have used both a hacksaw and a table saw (actually a wet tile saw) to frag these. If you go with the hacksaw, make sure you keep the coral sprayed down with tank water to lube the saw and to prevent burning the coral.
Both saws actually cut through quite easily.

so u actually cut the base rock of the coral to seperate the polyps?
