how do ya guys acclimate from QT?

hey guys how do ya'll acclimate fish from a QT to display so i'll know later, i've read a few say they mach up ph, salinity and temp if possible then float a bag with them in it and every so offtan dip the bag into the tank water to get a bit from the tank.......have ya guys done it this way or what way have ya guys had the best results?

Are they the same salinity level? Same temp level? I would use your display water to do water change on the QT tank like 20% Wait a day then to dip them out and place them into the display. I used to do it all the time transferring my fish from one to the other just by dipping them out. All my water came from same place, same salt, same salinity, etc etc. I never had a problem with it.
