How Do You Clean A Powerhead

Ok, I know, sounds stupid right. But how can I clean a powerhead contaminated by ich?

I was thinking soak in water and vinegar for 24hrs and that should do the trick.

Recomendations are appreciated. I do not want to cross contaminate my live rock tank. That is where this powerhead is being used, but I need it to mix water in a bucket that was previously water changed with a QT tank.

thats what i would do fresh water and some vinger let it dry and put back in the next day

Should do the trick, but soak it in a bleach water solution instead (10:1) for 24 hrs if you want to be absolutely sure.

Soak in a dilute solution of bleach and water, and then rinse well and let dry.
