I just cut mine with scissors and tied it onto a piece of rock with sewing thread. That worked fine. I found it would grow even faster And the new piece could have the thread removed in a couple of weeks no problem
Thanks for the welcome I've been doing a lot of reading and no posting. Amazing site lots of info. I just cut big pieces off. Sounds savage but it seems to be a tuff coral. Heres a picture.
At the back is the one I cut from. With the new cutting in front. Both fully recovered. Looking at them you wouldn't know they had been cut with polyps growing were I cut.Its only been around 3 weeks and both fine. It really seems to be a good coral for this and liked by many so good for trading
