How do you get a Clown to host a Carpet?

My Clowns ignore the Carpet completely. Does it take awhile for the clowns to get comfy in the tank? They were all introduced together into the tank. Is there proper placement for them all?

On another note my cleaner shrimp walk all over my carpet. They get stuck at times and have to pull off but they like to stand on it for some reason. Is this normal with carpets and shrimp?

The fish may never host, they may host soon, they may host in the distant future. Give them time to acclimate to the tank and get used to their surroundings, and just wait it out. Don't try to force anything, you could cause unnecessary stress to your clowns and anemone.

Just grab em and shove em in...just kidding

Seriously not much you can do but hurry up and wait and hope for the best...

However you could try putting it near their sleeping place and in the middle of the night shine a flashlight into the tank and "direct" them in to it...works once in a blue moon...

My clowns spend most of their time on the far side of the tank away from the Power Head. Is this normal? The carpet is fairly close to the power head now and was in the middle of the tank before. I see the clowns swim around the carpet but always end up back in the far corner again.

Maybe I should put a predator in the tank and see if they will run and hide in the carpet /just kidding.

I am awaiting the hosting :)
