How do you get a haddoni anemone to move

Whats the purpose of the move? To remove it from the tank or just relocate it to another spot?

If its the latter, I would let it be. Nems settle into a spot where they are comfortable and happy. To make it move would be forcing it to place where it could potentially be stressed. Plus, it might end of moving back to its original location anyway

it is so that we can move him to another tank that is larger , but hisfoot is lodged between some rocks that can not be moved and the bottom.

Flow. Increase it and it will get agitated. I have been battling this for the past month with mine, and he finally got caught up in the Vortech and is now residing back at the bottom of the tank where he belongs. Not cool to get a 14in Carpet on the move in an SPS tank.

+1 w/ UWUALineman, mine will move if the flow s not to his liking. If you have somewhere else that you would like to try and get him to stay use a rounded rock or clay pot to place his foot into and he may be less likely to move. You can place your rockwork around the pot to hide it until coraline grows on in.

FWIW, hope this helps.

If its foot is partly on the bottom of the tank try using a credit card to GENTLY get it off. You can also try using an icecub on its foot. How long did you try to move it? It took me and some friends about an hour. You may get stung, but if you need to move it, you need to move it. If the tanks are right next to each other(the tank its in and the tank you want to put it in) just pick up the rocks its on and move it.
