I think I have Flatworms in my tank and wanted to know how to get rid of them? Im having a friend come over to check it out to see if they are flatworms for sure, but whats a good way to get rid of them?

Siphionous Tubeious....It works pretty well......Flatworm Exit works too...just get ready to do a nice water change.

predatory fish is my recommendation. I used a psychedelic mandarin and a scooter blenny (in different tanks). They will eventually hunt the population into extinction...

well, i think i was reading that sixline wrasses take care of the flatworms, and I have one in the tank, and I have a pretty good size red mandarin goby. Will they take care of the flatworms?

I was also thinking of flatworm exit as well.

I plan on doing a 15-20 gallon water change as well to siphon out some of the flatworms to.

I have a 50g DT with a 10g Refue.

i've been having serious red planaria flat worms for the past two months or so....

i got two scooter blennies with no help

got a 6 line wrasse and a mandarin, also not helping.

have taken to siphon-tube-filter regularly before trying out the flatwork exit.... which just arrived today

hope it doens't crash the tank :x:

Just cut way back on your feeding and your sixline wrasse should take care of them! Worked for me. Try using wrasses before you try chemicals.
