Ditto, add time and patience to let things settle in and acclimate. So often we constantly change lights, flow, food, etc etc and the coral can never quit adapting ... and thus never really thrives the way it would in a long-term stable placement/environment.

Just my take, but I'd focus on water quality above all.

on the phosban container, it stresses not to have too much flow on the media or other wise it will grind up...how much is too much? do they mean like crashing or splashing through it? I have it tightly packed in a media bag in my over-flow (backside) the return pump is a mag 7. should i move it to the front half or leave it where it is?
