how do you get your clam to stay put?

i put a piece of rock underneath the sand bed. Should I cover it completely with sand?

My clam likes to jump around alot . I have a spot for him but he likes to get closer to the glass.

Anyway to make him stay put?

Well, the best thing is for him to find a spot that makes him happy. Sometimes it's best, even if it isn't the ideal viewing spot for you.

i absolutely agree with peabody, if a clam is not happy with its location, it will find one better suited to its well being.they are kinda like anemones in the respect that they will determine where they want to be, even if you dont like it the animal should be left alone.
