Thanks to Josh, I now have a new skimmer. He sold me an Eshopps PSK-100H that had a broken pipe just before the venturi. This would have been more of an issue if I wanted to use it as a HOB skimmer, but I had to rig it to work in-sump. It turned out to be a really easy fix.

I epoxied a fitting from the electrical section to couple a 1/2" pvc pipe to the pump's inlet

This is the other end. It is the venturi and the connection to the part of the skimmer that draws water up and over the tank's side. I just epoxied a PVC pipe to it and slipped a 45* union over the PVC

Here's the final pump-side rig. It draws water a lot closer to the surface than if I went straight out.

Here's the rack to hold the skimmer and keep it from falling over. Not much to describe here

And it fits!

Thanks for the great deal on the skimmer, Josh. It's running like a champ now. This thing is WAY better than my modded coralife SS65

Nah, it's just easier to leave the coralline built up than scrape it. It's pretty clean aside from that. I never see it and I'm just too lazy to mess with it :p
