How do you light your 10 gallon?

Is there anyone else here that has a 10 gallon reef? How do you light it?
I've been using a 20 Watt 50/50 and a 10 Watt 50/50 and thought that I should change it up. I was told yesterday that should be fine.
I may go to 2 of the 20 Watt bulbs.

What do you guys use?

It depends on what you want to keep, but 30 or 40 watts of light on 10 may be somewhat on the low side. I have two 65W PC's (one 50/50 and one actinic) over my 15 gallon tank. You can grow all sorts of things under this light.

I have a 10g in storage now that I made a custom canopy for and put a 96w 50/50 bulb in it. Thats alot of light but I put it up kinda high and put 2 computer fans in the canopy to cool it. Not the best looking canopy but it got me started. Also out there with it is a AquaClear I converted to a small cheato and fuge area. I was happy with it just wanted more room.

I ran a 10g reef tank in my office. I started with the standard freshwater hood using the cheapo PC screw in bulbs. That didn't look good to my eye and didn't work well even with low light coral so I upgraded to the 96w PC Coralife Aqualight Quad. That worked extremely well both for me and the corals.

Hey Corey - you can also get some legs for that light so it doesn't have to sit right on the frame of the tank.

Yeah, I saw some of those the other day. I'm gonna pick some up when the fixture gets here.

Damn holiday weekend! That's gonna put me back another day.
