How do you makes plugs?

They need to be less than 25¢ though for me to call them cheap.
Takes me about 15-20 mins to make 50. Just have to stay on top of supply so they have time to cure.

If you look around you can definitely find them in the .20-.25 range. In fact there are some on the auction giant that are in the .23 range.

I have a harder time keeping the frags glued to the ceramic looking plugs. BAF's seem to stick better with the rough surface. Still prefer to make my own and they look a little more naturally shaped.

i agree instead of telling us that the are easy to make and that they are cheap to make...please tell us how you make them.

that was sharing, use a bucket of sand, dig a hole with your finger to what ever shape you like, pour in anchor cement, let dry and cure
I just wanna see what they look like

Man... sorry to get under your skin. ;) Red hit it right on the head. They look like blobs of concrete with sand stuck to them. Each one looks different and you control the size and the shape.

I don't have pictures of them, sorry.

Reefdna... I'll be in Glendale next weekend for an auto swap. I'll toss a couple plugs in my show trailer.

Nobodies under anybodies skin... I was simply trying to make sure that chbarber got his/her question answered.

CHBARBER -- I beleive that http://www.garf.org/ has what you are talking about in their "How To" section. They show a tub of sand that is shaped into a mold and then agrocrete poured in. You can also find complete instructions on the whole process including curing times and such. It's a good read and has all the info you could want on making your own rock /plugs. Good Luck

My buddy and I made about 500 pucks on Sunday. It took us about 1hr. We use dixxie cups for the moulds, they are re-useable. This is the 3rd time with the same cups. Our mix is secret
