How do you mount your RO/DI unit

Can I see creative idea of how you guys mount your RO/DI unit? I can't mount them in the wall permanently so I am looking for ways to mount the unit so I can easily move it to the water source and then move them back for storage.

Any ideas?

Can you put two screws in the wall? Maybe hang a picture when not in use. Then just slip the unit over the screws when ready to use.

i have mine mounted to the wall behind the washer, but i was thinking of making a simple stand with 2x4's so that i could move it around easier if i needed to

Well if your gonna move it around all the time might as well get a cheap dolly and attach it to it. Then you can put water containers on the front too...

You can use some 1/2 inch plywood and build a briefcase style box for it, just mount it to the wall of the briefcase. I personally wouldnt even put a front on it, just the back wall, a bottom, two sides, and the top where you can put the handle. I am not sure of the dimensions exactly, but I would think it would be around 18 inches wide by 18 inches high by 8 inches wide. Maybe even offset the handle toward the back wall for extra support and to keep the box further away from your leg when you walk. I Hope this makes sense.

Lowes has one for $29. Craigslist would be less. In this hobby, I figure $29 is cheap.

We have used these to build a couple welding carts and a neat one with a propane heater unit, pump, and water tank for hot water camping... Works well.
