How do you pair up neon blue gobies (Elacatinus oceanops)

I never found out any specific way to do it, but I bought two small ones, and they were spawning three weeks later and ever since. I'm not sure if they are hermaphrodites, but if they aren't then I guess you just have to be lucky!? I did buy two gold-striped neons, and they have yet to show any spawning behavior... I'm sure someone else has some more info. on that. Here's a pic:

Pretty easy.Set a group and pick two standing side by side,they are a pair. No,they are not hermaphrodites.

Do they fight, or are they comfortable in close proximity to each other? If they seem to enjoy the company of their tankmate, I think you've got a male and a female. If they fight constantly, they're likely the same sex.

I got myself a breeding pair by putting two juveniles together and waiting. They've been laying regularly for a few months now and I'm trying to raise the fry. Each hatch gets a little bit better, but it's still frustrating.

I dont claim to be an expert on neon gobies, but i beleve small juviniles will sex themselves.

Buying 2 small juvis will produce a pair. Worked for me with my 3 pairs. I havent managed to get hold of any glodstripes yet, but dont see why these would be any different.

Wow i never heard that juviniles will mate with them self. Is that possible?

What I'm saying, and what I think the others are saying, is that if you put two juveniles together, when they grow up they are likely to become a mated, breeding pair of adult gobies.

yea, i am gonna give it a try next week. should i introduce them at one time or can i intro them at a weeks interval?

I am pretty sure that Todd Gardner ( breeds them) told me they were hermaphrodites but don't quote me on that. He sent me 8 juvies, I paired them at random and got 4 spawning pairs. Could just be dumb luck
