How do you remove a toadstool?

I have a Toadstool that has overgrown my tank. It is about 18" in diameter in my 75gal tank. It has mounted on a rock that goes into the reef structure at the bottom. Can i remove it from the rock without damaging it. My LFS will take it if it is good shape.

I've never ripped a large one out, but I've done smaller ones (head maybe 4-6" in diameter). I grab them as close to the base as possible and pull them off the rock. The last one I did is growing back from the remnants left on the rock. If you decide to rip it off, a WC and/or fresh carbon wouldn't hurt.

It does have some areas that aren't attached and i should be able to put my fingers up underneath it. I'll try pulling it off slowly.
