How do you remove siliconed glass baffles?

I recently purchased a CAD Lights 25gallon nano tank and really dislike the way they set up the refugium in the back. There are three chambers in the rear, each having glass baffles between the next approximately 4 inches tall. I want to remove the baffle between the first and second chamber to make it taller so as to not have such a large drop from the drain to the water (about 6-8 inch drop), and also to run my sapphire skimmer where the output is below the water line.

Here is what it looks like now:

My question is, how do I remove the baffles between those two chambers once they have been siliconed in place, in order to put them where I want them?

It appears that the silicone is in the joint between the baffle and the side glass... will a razor blade get in the joint too, or just cut through the silicone on the outside?
