how do you revive a leather

I have a leather that is sinking fast what can i do to stimulate him

Water changes! And i moved mine down to lower light and he regrew the whole middle of his body and stalk.

Improve water quality and give it lots of water flow.

What type of leather do you have, what is it doing, and what are your water parameters like?
