How do you scrape the back of your tank?

When you can't reach it?
I've been thinking about trying to put some kind of handle on my mag float.
Thinking of J B Welding a nut onto it and getting a piece of plastic threaded rod to use as a handle.
Who's done something similar?

I don't scrape the back of my tank, but I do have a 36" scraper that I use to get to hard to reach places. Look for algae scrapers in F&S Aquatics.

Most of the commercial scrapers are built for small tanks. Some of the marine boat companies make larger tools that I use on my tank. There are many extendable poles that can be connected to various scrubbing tools. Scrapers, squeegees, sponges, etc. if you go big go with Marine boat tools.
