How do you tell if a Pylei wrasse has gone male?

As the subject says, there are two youngish Pylei fairy wrasse for $20 each and I want to figure out if they are male.

Female Pylei wrasses ventral fins have not grown as long as males. Females have a black spot on the caudal peduncle. Females do not have the black margin at the end of the caudal fin.

Do you only want 1 of them?
If they are small juvis they are probably still female, but even if 1 has started to turn male, IME odds are that they both will eventually turn male in your tank.
Also be aware that pylei can be aggressive
