was gonna pull out the first filter "card" that has the fiber filter (to catch the big stuff) so i could wash it.
then i got to thinking, is it better to rinse it out in a bucket of salt water so i don't destroy any of the bacteria on it?
or would i be fine just rinsing it out with DI water
i guess the same goes for the charcoal bag that is after it.
tank is pretty new....i'd say its cycling but i'm not seeing any ammonia spike so i think starting it with NSW/LS/LR just had some mini-cycles.
