Remember that because of the sheer volume of water these facilities have; protozoan parasites are not nearly the killers they are in our tiny tanks. That's why ich (et al) are basically harmless in the oceans. I do know some Public Aquaria use huge UVs BETWEEN tanks to keep parasites from spreading tank to tank. This doesn't eliminate them, just helps control them. Many wholesalers and LFS do the same thing. Call one of the big public facilities; I'll bet someone will talk to you. Prior to Katrina, I had a guy at Aquarium of the Americas in N.O. that I called often. Make sure its a public facility, private aquariums or breeders won't tell you squat....proprietary information.
