How does a frogspawn eat?

How and what does a frogspawn eat? I read about them eating both frozen and liquid foods just like most other LPS. My looks to be pretty healthy but I havent ever seen it eat, or anybody elses eat for that matter. When the acans and lobo eat its obvious there stuffing there faces but I dont know what to expect from the froggy. It doesnt have little sweepers like the acans and such so what does it use to grab the food? I would think it feeds like an anenome but when I try and feed brine or whatever it wont do anything. I hear about these long sweepers coming from the frogspawn but I havent ever seen any. Well, some of its tenticles will get pretty long but they just wave around and dont appear to respond to food. Can anybody explain this a little for me?

Or if you wanna have real fun, use a krill. It can eat some pretty big stuff.

Sweeper are only for defense or offense too I guess, not for feeding. They are long very thin with stingers. They develop when the coral senses the presence of an invader. Keep others away from it and you won't have sweepers. (acceptions apply)

Should I feed him during the day when its all puffed up and waving about? Or should I feed at night as I do with the other corals. I feed the others when I see there feeders. I dont know what to expect from the frogspawn.

Well I tried feeding it a piece of krill and nothing happend. It stuck to its tenticles but eventually floated away. I tried several times with no success. Whats the deal?

i have same problem with my hammer coral. i put mysis on the head and most of it just falls off. doesnt respond well to food, and today i just bought a 3 head green frogspawn and i hope it likes its new home by tomorrow because im going to try and feed it.

my ricordias each much more than any of my LPS corals.
