How does this sound for feeding in a SPS tank

I would say anythings possible, are these 2 frags the only Sps in the tank? Have you checked your alk for fluctuations day and night ? I don't mean to ask you a million questions I just want to help you out!

Alk isn't swinging, im dosing with a pump multiple times a day so its been very stable for awhile now.

I had a similar issue a while back that closed up some polyps and it was red bugs. Look for pests too.

I do dip everything, and have looked for red bugs since I have had them in the past on another tank. Ill take another look, but I do think its pests.

SPS did have extension when I got them, and did in my tank as well pretty much up until I got the angel(lets say they had PE for 2 months or so). Also things started to look a bit worse off since then, so its possible the frags aren't happy about something, and its not the Angel.

I think you pretty much summed it up right here.....

all frags fine for months, add flame angel....Voila.....no more polyp extension..

I do think that its quite likely the polyps have been withdrawn since the angels arrival, but does that also answer the question for color loss as well? I seem to remember seeing many tanks with dont show polyp extension, but have beautifully growing sps..?
